How can I delete my account and data?

If you wish to delete your Tembo account and all associated personal information, you can request account deletion by opening a support case. Please use the same email address that your account is registered with to ensure we can verify your identity.

Important: Subscriptions and Purchases

Please note: Deleting your Tembo account does not automatically cancel any active subscriptions or purchases made through third-party marketplaces (such as the Apple App Store or Google Play Store). You must cancel these separately through the respective app store before or after deleting your account.

Account Deletion Process

Once you submit your account deletion request, our team will process it as follows:

  1. Verification: We'll send you a confirmation email to verify your identity and confirm the account closure request. You may need to click a verification link in the email to proceed.
  2. 14-Day Grace Period: Your account will be deactivated immediately for a 14-day grace period. During this time:
    • You will not be able to sign in to your account
    • You will not have access to your data or learning progress
    • If you change your mind, you can open a new support case to request account restoration
  3. Permanent Deletion: After the 14-day grace period, all account data will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered. This includes:
    • Your profile information
    • Learning progress and statistics
    • Saved preferences and settings
    • All other account-related data

After permanent deletion, you're welcome to create a new Tembo account if you decide to return in the future.
